Garai pats out flames on his sleeve and jeans, then he and Lily talk about their strange new abilities by the fire.

Panel 3: [SFX: Pat! Pat! Pat!] (Garai frantically pats out the flames)
Panel 4: GARAI: Well...
GARAI: I guess fire can't hurt me, but if I walked through it, I'd come out naked.
LILY: Haha, I guess we shouldn't push you into any furnaces.
Panel 5: LILY: Right before my parents died,
LILY: I touched the liquid and my hair changed,
LILY: But I can't do anything special?
Panel 6: GARAI: Well, the scarabs didn't hurt you;
GARAI: Maybe your skin is impervious to scarabs?
Panel 7: LILY: Well, I'm not going to just go out there to find out.
